Joy Transportation Fund

Arguably, one of the biggest issues individuals and families face, as a result of living in the South Suburbs, is lack of transportation options. In Urban areas there tend to be plenty of affordable public transit options and high density of jobs, where as in the suburbs, individuals may travel long distances to work and reliable transportation is a critical lifeline. Many families in the southside own one vehicle, therefore any type of car troubles can lead to joblessness and homelessness in the blink of an eye. We are creating a separate outreach fund for assisting families with transportation costs including, car repairs, insurance costs and help with the purchase of a vehicle through one of our partners.
