With 25 years working with outreach teams at the YMCA, Chicago Help Initiative, Zeldas Kitchen Witches and more, Jacquelyn is passionate about bringing solutions to communities. Jacquelyn's vision for Joy Emporium stems from Lived Experience and her insights have help mold the thoughtful programs and volunteer opportunities, allowing neighbors to engage and find purpose.

Rojean brings a wealth of experience having worked in the medical field and with Pathlight's Senior Services. Her knowledge of the South Suburbs and our network of Social Services combined with her passion and dedication make her a major asset to our Board.

By volunteering his award-winning, graphic design talents Andrew is an asset to the success of our Culture, Brand and Success. Kind, Warm and Skilled at event marketing, he also is one of our most dedicated volunteers delivering lunches weekly to over 150 individuals and families in need. He embodies the slogan "teamwork makes the dream work."
Director of Advocacy
Devin is a licensed fitness coach and physical therapist with several strong ties to the South Suburban community. He is an Author and Life Coach with his own insights on how to achieve goals and have balance in our lives. We look forward to Devin serving as an Advocate for Men's Health on our Board.
Special Needs Advocacy & Outreach
Savina has worked as a teacher in child development with Pre-K youth and special needs children. Savina exudes positivity and her passion is helping grow the community. We are excited to have her help and insights with programming and outreach.
Clinical Director
Beginning with a Career in Education, Dr Carla acquired her Bachelors Degree in Special Education from Northern Illinois University. After pursuing a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University and a Doctorate in Education & System Reform from Loyola University Chicago, Dr Carla switched avenues attending the Adler School of Professional Psychology earning a Master Degree in Counseling with focus on mental skills and performance. We are grateful to Dr Carla for her commitment to making our community a brighter and healthier home for all.
Fundraising Coordinator
Debbie George brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in running business, connecting with supporters and fundraising. We are grateful she is an advocate for Joy and an asset to our team.
Outreach Coordinator
Roosevelt brings a passion for change and experience in violence prevention and outreach. Whether working with youth, adults or seniors struggling with homelessness, domestic violence or hardship, Roosevelt brings compassion through lived experience that we are grateful for.
Volunteer Coordinator
Leo has a heart for giving back and lends a wealth of experience in trades and building inspection. He has been an asset to our team helping with renovations both within the Joy Emporium and our Garden. Leo assists with volunteer events and coordinates furniture pick up and deliveries.
